New Shiba Inu game is blowing up in Vietnam

Shiba Inu raises its game server capacity by 50x amid massive users

According to William Volk, a seasoned game developer behind the Shiba Inu game, Shib Eternity has become quite popular in Vietnam.

The details of the Shiba Eternity were released to the community early this month. The leader of the Shiba Inu project, Shytoshi Kusama, announced the game’s debut and asked gamers from Vietnam to play the Shiba Eternity and give their reviews and feedback on it.

Shiba raises its game’s capacity by 50 folds

The number of interested players on the game skyrocketed to the extent that the development had to increase the server capacity by fifth fold, says Volk.

Perhaps due to Axie Infinity’s popularity there, Shiba Inu has prioritized the Vietnamese market as its first target. The developers of Shiba Eternity have released a video that provides viewers with an overview of the game’s graphics, gameplay, and features. Shiba Eternity is a card game with a turn-based gameplay system, and Kusama has indicated that more features will be made available in subsequent releases.

Thanks to the game, the Shiba Inu ecosystem is getting more recognition, and the price of Shiba Inu has had a major rally over the week. According to CoinMarketCap, SHIB has moved up to the 12th position in terms of market capitalization.

Shiba Inu on a growing spree

There are likely to be many players eagerly awaiting the game’s release since there are over one million Shiba Inu owners. There is currently no new information on the time frame in which the game will be made accessible to the remaining players; however, updates from Shytoshi Kusama are anticipated.

In November, the team working on Shiba Inu decided to bring Volk on board as a lead consultant. Volk is a seasoned game developer who formerly worked for Activision. Shib Eternity was made in collaboration with PlaySide Studios, a game company based in Melbourne, Australia.

At the beginning of December, Shiba Inu Games and the most successful gaming company in Australia, which is renowned for making games like Animal Warfare and Idle Area 51, decided to join forces. The debut of the metaverse and the Shiba Inu NFT ecosystem is scheduled for Q4 of 2022.
